SUMMARY:Arbor Gallery: Percussion Workshop with Wayne Stoute
DESCRIPTION:Join the beat with this hands-on workshop led by acclaimed percussionist Wayne Stoute! This family-friendly event begins with a history of percussion instruments from the instructor’s own collection\, focusing particularly on how the environment helps shape the instruments that are invented and played within a culture. Then\, participants will have the chance to make their own instruments using materials they’ve brought from home – and play their new instruments together as a group!
